A dynamic, sensitive and personal approach to your journey of physical and emotional healing. 

Body work is becoming more and more recognised as a valid treatment option with studies showing we can manipulate the body to regulate the nervous system and therefore how we feel. This approach recognises that stress, trauma, and emotions are a physiological response and can become deep seated within the body, often below conscious awareness. Working with the body, we can release these patterns of tension and we can shift out of reactive states when we do not need them and fall back into calm, resilient mindsets, empowering us to experience emotional healing and self-awareness from the inside out.

In chronic stress, we are programmed to detect danger, we see, hear, feel and smell things very differently. We are not tuned into the finer details of conversation, or  of our environment. This sympathetic or "fight flight" state can be very important and necessary, when we need to focus or get something important done. Stress is helpful. However, lasting wellbeing depends on our ability to fall back into the para-sympathetic, or "rest and digest" state when necessary, where we can be soft and open to connection. Body work helps us reconnect with our own selves first, creating a foundation to rebuild meaningful relationships, environments and nurture the village mindset that has faded over years of disconnection. 

About me...

Hello! I’m a qualified somatic and remedial soft tissue therapist and an emotional support worker, specialising in pre and postnatal therapy. My journey into this work has been a deeply personal one, sparked by a lifelong fascination with the body and later its profound connection to the mind.

With a background in dance and nursing, I spent my early adult years immersed in understanding the body’s resilience, movement and healing capacities. However, it was the experience of hypnobirthing my son and navigating my own journey through clinical depression that truly deepened my approach to therapy. I came to appreciate how closely our physical and emotional selves are interwoven, and how working with the body can open doors to mental and emotional healing.

Today, I’m passionate about supporting others, especially mothers and mothers to be, through their own physical and emotional transformations. I offer personalised therapeutic sessions that honour your unique experience, helping you find relief, resilience, and connection within yourself.

Whether you’re seeking support in navigating physical discomfort, emotional challenges, or simply wanting a safe space to just be, I’d be honoured to work alongside you on your healing journey.

Massage and soft tissue therapy support both physical and emotional wellbeing. Physically of course it can reduce pain and promote a better range of motion. However for those carrying emotional stress or trauma, massage also offers a safe, non-verbal way to release emotion and restore balance.
